Inspection Services and Surveys: 

Highly skilled inspectors perform a wide range of quantity and quality inspection services for crude oil, petroleum products and liquid gases. These include cargo inspections, loss control, sample acquisition, analysis witnessing, tank calibration, bunker surveys, on/off hire surveys, expeditor service, pipeline transfer controls, terminal audits and stock control.  Alex Stewart also offers a comprehensive pre-shipment testing and analysis programme for PGM Catalysts from the Petroleum industry to ensure compliance with ‘Transfrontier Shipments of Waste Regulations.’

Quantity and Quality Inspections: 

Alex Stewart acts as the government agent in determining the quantity and quality of its client’s cargo. Duties include measuring, sampling and analyzing the product, and reporting its findings promptly and accurately.  Inspections are carried out throughout the operations of loading, discharging, ship-to-ship, blending and addition of dyes or other additives to petroleum products.
